P. for Helston 1491 - 1492 was one of the Cornish rebellions who were executed after Blackheath(1497). This was the rebellion due to heavy taxation because of the war with Scotland. The leader was a Michael Joseph (blacksmith) of St Keverne later to be hanged at Tyburn, London after their defeat at Blackheath
