William DE FERRERS 5th Earl of Derby

William de Ferrers, 5th Earl of Derby was born circa 1200 at Derby, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of William de Ferrers, 4th Earl of Derby and Alice of Chester.
He married Sibyl Marshal, daughter of William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke and Isabella de Clare, Countess of Pembroke.
He married Margaret de Quincy, daughter of Roger de Quency, 2nd Earl of Winchester and Helen de Galloway, in 1238.1 He died on 24 March 1254 at Evington, Leicestershire, England.1
He succeeded to the title of 5th Earl of Derby in 1247.
