He was Commissioner of Irish , Member of Parliament (M.P.) (I Parl) Galway 1661– 65 and 1692– 93 Affrs 1660.4 He lived at Carrickdrumrusk, County Leitrim, Ireland.5 He gained the title of 1st Baronet St. George. In February 1658 knighted /9 by Henry Cromwell, Lord Dep Ireland, and again 1660 by CHARLES II.4 On 5 September 1660 so created.4


Oliver married Olivia BERESFORD, daughter of Michael BERESFORD and Mary LEAKE, in 1651.1 (Olivia BERESFORD was born in 1629 in <Of, Carrickdrumrusk, Leitrim, Ireland> 1.)
