GEORGE EVANS, PC (in or after 1688), of Bulgaden Hall, Co Limerick; barrister, MP Co Limerick and Charleville, Co Cork; m 1679 Mary, dau of John Eyre, PC, of Eyre Court, CoGalway, and had, with seven daus:
1a GEORGE, 1st Baron
2a Eyre, of Portrane, Co Dublin; barrister, MP Co Limerick; m Sarah, 2nd dau and coheir of T Dixon, of Ballylackin, Co Cork,

THE RT HON GEORGE EVANS (1658-1720), MP for County Limerick, who wedded Miss Eyre, daughter of John Eyre Esq, of Eyrecourt Castle, County Galway, and sister of the 1st Lord Eyre. He had a large family including,

1. GEORGE, 1st Baron Carbery;
2. EYRE, of Portrane, County Dublin, of whom we treat;
3. THOMAS, of Milltown Castle, County Cork;
4. JANE, married Chidley Coote Esq, ancestor of the Barons Castle Coote;
5. ELIZABETH, married Hugh Massy Esq, father of 1st Barons Massy and Clarina.

George married Mary EYRE, daughter of Col. Rt. Hon. John EYRE and Mary BIGOE, in 1679 in Cork, co. Cork, Ireland. (Mary EYRE was born in 1650 in Eyrecourt Castle, Galway, , Ireland, ³ and died in 1720 in Ireland ⁴.)
