Edward I, King of England 1272-1307 (b. Jun. 16 or 17, 1239; d. Jul. 7, 1307) Married Oct. 18, 1254 Eleanor of Castile (d. Nov. 28, 1290), daughter of St. Fernando II, King of Castile and Leon. He married second Sep. 8, 1299 Margarite, daughter of King Philip II of France. King Edward and Eleanor were parents of Princess Elizabeth Plantagenet (b. Aug. 1282; d.
